A balcony roof left standing on a builder's prop
Why a temporary post under a balcony roof at lock-up is a structural item, not a tidy up job.
Steel, collars and set downs checked in the hours before the concrete.

On the slabs we have checked in Camden's growth area, the items that recur are not dramatic: termite collars missing from plumbing penetrations, steel without enough concrete cover, extra bars left out of wide beams and shower set downs not formed. Each one is fixed in minutes with a chair, a collar or a bar before the pour, and each is permanent after it.

Annotated findings from Slab pre-pour inspections.

Every pipe through the slab is a possible hidden entry for termites. Collars close that gap and cannot be added once the concrete is poured.
About an hour on a standard single dwelling.
Often yes. Small items are corrected while we are there or straight after, and the builder decides on timing.
